For Humans is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting previously incarcerated individuals get back on their feet.
Not only are the people returning to society faced with limited means of support, they are cast with the stigma that comes with having been incarcerated. Our PSA fights these preconceived judgments.
Distributed to inmates 1 year before their expected release date, the books cover important steps to complete before and after their release.
The For Humans website is an online personalized resource. The user inputs their Inmate ID number and is asked questions about the current situation.
The site then identifies resources best suited, including an onboarding process with a career aptitude test which directs users to jobs for which they are eligible.
